Malcolm is a Brooklyn headshot photographer whose work is shaped by technical study, disciplined practice, and generational influence. His love for photography began early in the small town of Arcadia, Louisiana, where his father first introduced him to the camera and the attention required to truly see. Photography was never simply an interest for Malcolm — it was lineage.
Growing up around his father’s constant presence behind the lens, Malcolm developed a deep respect for traditional photographic craft long before presets and automation became standard.
When his father passed in 2017, the camera became something more than a creative outlet. It became a way to continue a legacy — an ongoing commitment to craftsmanship, discipline, and intentional work.
For more than two decades, Malcolm has called Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn home. Within one of New York’s most culturally rich neighborhoods, he has refined a portrait practice centered on light, presence, and the human form.
